Overview:
In this course, students will learn the fundamental principles of organizational learning and understand the challenges and scope of successful knowledge transfer; select a knowledge management (KM) system.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the fundamental principles of organizational learning and create an assessment team to assess knowledge
- Encourage employees to transfer knowledge, identify and address knowledge transfer reluctance, identify the available technologies for knowledge transfer, and understand the challenges to successful knowledge transfer
- Select a knowledge management (KM) system and monitor its elements
- Develop a pilot project and identify KM leader qualifications and characteristics
