Mentoring

Course Length: 1 Day

Overview:
In this course, students will learn to develop a mentoring program and understand the benefits of building strong mentoring relationships.

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Identify various ways of mentoring, identify mentoring roles and competencies, and implement organizational strategies through mentoring
• Understand the purpose of and criteria for a successful mentoring program, develop a mentoring program, and select mentors and mentees
• Understand the dimensions of mentoring, and identify learning and mentoring styles
• Become an effective mentor, choose and manage a mentee, and become an effective mentee
• Build a strong mentoring relationship, make a mentoring relationship successful, and end a mentoring relationship
