Overview:
In this course, students will learn how to use HTML to create Web pages.

Prerequisites:
HTML 4 - Level 1

Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Create advanced tables, including nested tables
• Size and place graphics, including imagemaps, in a Web page
• Create Web forms
• Create forms with advanced input types and attributes
• Create and work with framed Web pages
• Create documents that automatically display another page and documents that contain interactive JavaScripts and applets
• Design Web pages using style sheets

Lesson 1: Advanced Tables

• Creating nested tables
• Using tables for page layout

Lesson 2: Graphics

• Incorporating graphics into a document
• Creating and using imagemaps

Lesson 3: Creating Forms

• Introduction to forms

Lesson 4: Advanced Forms

• Using advanced input types
• Setting input type attributes
• Creating a text area
• Creating form list boxes

Lesson 5: Frames

• Overview of frames
• Creating frames
• Applying frame attributes
• Using nested framesets

Lesson 6: Dynamic and Interactive Documents

• Interactive Web pages
• JavaScript in HTML documents
• Java in HTML documents

Lesson 7: Cascading Style Sheets (CSS-1)

• Introduction to style sheets (CSS-1)
• Working with style sheet properties and selectors
• Linked style sheets
